The Tour visits historic Hilton Head

   The Heritage Classic Foundation has severed ties with WorldCom, ending the bankrupt telecommunication giant's role as title sponsor of the PGA golf tournament at Sea Pines' Harbour Town Golf Links.

The 35th annual tournament will go forward as scheduled April 14 through 20 of 2003, even if a new title sponsor cannot be found, board members of the charitable foundation that stages the tournament said July 23.
